Catarratto is one of the 4 single-varietal wines of the Colori di Sicilia line of Feudi del Pisciotto. A historic grape variety on the island, producing fresh whites with fruity and floral notes, Catarratto di Feudi del Pisciotto is a wine with a pleasant flavor and lends itself well to any pairing. On the label, orange and yellow brushstrokes reminiscent of Sicilian citrus fruits, taken from the ceramics of the great Caltagirone master Giacomo Alessi.
Tasting notes: straw yellow with greenish reflections. This wine ranges from hints of white-fleshed fruits such as peach and pineapple, to floral memories of jasmine and zagara. The taste is delicately citrusy, fresh and savoury.
Pairings: fish and seafood, white meats, grilled vegetables, soft and medium-aged cheeses.
