A solidarity project to support the community of Niscemi. Feudi del Pisciotto has chosen to dedicate a wine to Niscemi, the net proceeds of which will be donated to interventions to help the population. Fata Nascim is the ancient name and expression of Arab-medieval origin, linked to the toponymic and legendary tradition of Niscemi, which means “Wind Fairy”, “Light Breeze Fairy”. A wine based on Cabernet Sauvignon (50%) and Merlot (50%) that was born as an act of closeness and good omen, so that an air of renewal, which regenerates and allows you to start again, begins to blow. Fata Nascim is a tribute to Niscemi and her people, to the memory she unites, to the discreet strength with which we start again.
Tasting notes: deep ruby red. On the nose ripe red and black fruits (cherry, blackberry, plum) with mild spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate it is balanced: tannins present but soft, good structure and a persistent finish.
Pairings: ideal with red meats, roasts, braised meats, first courses in ragù and aged cheeses. Also excellent with tasty Sicilian dishes, such as meat rolls, caponata, or eggplant parmigiana.
