Rocca di Frassinello ed. lim. "Renzo Piano Senatore"
An edition of the first Rocca di Frassinello label dedicated to the great architect Renzo Piano, creator and designer of Rocca di Frassinello, the DCC winery situated in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. For this special edition the 2013 vintage was chosen with its intense, enveloping, intriguing wine that never exceeds in thickness. Fresh and elegant both while young and after ageing, even for decades.
Tasting notes: an intense ruby red colour with hints of garnet. A wine that succeeds in combining strength, intensity and elegance, with soft tannins to give it a roundness in the mouth. Fruity to the nose with a pleasant spiciness. The taste in the mouth is deep, but lively and with good balance.
Pairings: well with red meats, roasts, game and mature cheeses.
